I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE, AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME:
I’m just so frustrated with this. It’s not the first time when this has happened to me. If the app says the customer will get their order in the next 30 minutes, then it should be delivered within that time (a 5–10 minute Upar Niche).
If the real issue is that payment must be made online to receive the order, then the app shouldn’t offer a Cash on Delivery (COD) option, I do not know if this is the actual problem because this happens only when I choose COD (has happened before, so I know).
I don’t know what to do now — I had to print some important documents and I made the same mistake again by trusting Blinkit and guess what this was a total letdown. I don’t think I’ll ever trust BlinkIt again.
To whoever is reading this post, I just want to say: this isn’t the first time when this has happened to me. This was my second time trusting this app to deliver printed documents on time, and once again, after a full conversation with customer support, my order was simply cancelled— without any information, without any update, without anything — just like that. And this really makes me question: even if we have the purchasing power, and even though we always hear companies say “Customer is king,” are we really? Are we actually important? Or are we just playing by their rules, where we don’t really matter at all?.
I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE.
Unfortunately, it seems like we live in a world where we just have to deal with these kinds of problems. Just like you can’t fully rely on cab apps when you’re in a hurry (that’s happened to me too - And I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE).
I know some people might not think this is a big deal. But when we rely on these apps for small things that actually matter a lot in daily life, it becomes a big deal. These companies wouldn’t be billion-dollar businesses if what they offered wasn’t important. I don’t know what Blinkit needs to do to make its app more reliable, but as a customer, I believe we have a right to speak up if we’re given a platform.
This experience was heartbreaking. And honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to trust Blinkit again.
