The two words that kill 99% startups.
4 years of building Floworks and multiple pivots later
Here's my learning:
The hardest part of being a cofounder?
Fighting every day for your company.
Staying in for one more round.
Every will day bring:
👉 Unhappy customers
👉 Employees leaving
👉 Money problems
👉 Tons of Uncertainty
If you give up, your startup will die.
That's the best advice from Y Combinator
This is how I survived (and thrived):
1/ Your cofounder is your partner. TRUST THEM
2/ Everyone has a bad day.
3/ Forward momentum solves everything.
4/ You define momentum - Revenue/Tech/Anything
5/ You’re in a privileged position. Know it/Feel it!
6/ Join a tribe: A group of cofounders help!
7/ Bonus: A supportive partner/family/friends
Agree?
Let’s talk, if you are struggling
(P.S. Aastha - thanks for being the best partner 🤎 )
