Canva and Google (Gemini) advertising on a Kannada General entertainment Channel. Who are they targeting?

Mobile photo and video editing is very popular among teens and young adults as they prepare visuals to post as reels. But this age group does not watch television as much as the earlier generations did - and definitely not GEC as their content is targeted more towards the middle aged.

The ads feature people in their thirties and middle class. Additionally the search terms are also shown in Kannada which means they are trying to demonstrate that you don’t have to know English to use Google.

Now if anyone tells me “We don’t need marketing” I feel like saying:

Even Google is advertising!
