I don’t know anything about it but lots of the commentary is along the lines of “works for simple apps but not for complex apps”. I’m sure there’s more to it but..
More paralells to AI SDR. Which is just high-volume, low conversion email marketing at this stage.
Outbound can be simple when you’re targeting smaller orgs, you have PMF (a moving target) and a buzzing brand and demand engine (another moving target).
Outbound is complex is almost every other scenario.
I think we’re gonna see ALOT of graceful “were and agency now” pivots and some AI SDR bankruptcies soon enough.
It’s a bubble.
