Why our funnel tweaks aren’t moving the needle? Because we’re doing tactical optimization, not strategic.

Let me explain.

Most marketers obsess over what's inside the funnel:
- Budget splits
- Click-through rates
- Landing page A/B tests
- Conversion rate hacks

Sure, they matter. But these give you only incremental gains.

The real game is outside the funnel.
That’s strategic optimization.

It’s about:
Segmenting & targeting the right audience
With the right value proposition and message
Through the right media platforms

This isn’t new. It’s the foundation of direct marketing. (We just renamed it as “performance marketing” to sound cooler.)

But the principle remains:
Garbage in -> Garbage out
Put the right prospects at the top — and the whole funnel flows faster.

If your CAC is too high or conversions are too low, stop tweaking buttons.
