Are FAQs still relevant in SEO?

Recently, I’ve been working on the humble FAQ sections.

And this got me digging into the role of FAQs in SEO.

So, why FAQs at the end of blog posts?

Or, dedicated FAQs pages?

✅They satisfy user intent

Clear headings and to-the-point answers enable readers to find exactly what they’re looking for. No leading long paragraphs, skim through the page and find the answer you’re looking for.

✅They improve AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

The Q&A format answers user queries and helps search engines understand the content, increasing the likelihood of appearing in AI overviews or featured snippets.

✅They improve your overall SEO score.

FAQs demonstrate authority and expertise as you showcase in-depth knowledge of a topic by anticipating user queries and providing concise, informative answers.

So, where do you find relevant FAQs?

-        Google’s PAA (People Also Ask) Section

-        Answer The Public (for keyword-specific questions)

-        Semrush, Google Analytics (for long-tail queries)

-        Internal data and public forums (for real user pain points)

-        Scalenut’s Research section (for SERP, PAA, Quora, Reddit, and topic-specific AI-generated questions)

What has been your experience with FAQs?
