After nearly 11 incredible years, my journey with LinkedIn has come to an unexpected end due to recent layoffs.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye to something you’ve built passionately, I leave with immense pride in everything I’ve accomplished — and deep gratitude for the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside.

When the news hit, my first thought was, “What did I do to deserve this?”
But after some reflection, the answer became clear — I did a lot.
✅ Built and led LinkedIn’s country sales business across four dynamic Southeast Asian markets — Philippines, Thailand, Korea, and Vietnam
✅ The only first-line manager in SEA to manage all four markets — achieving 2–3x ARR growth in each over the years
✅ Fostered a high-performance culture, with team members consistently recognized at President’s Club
✅ Embraced diversity by leaning into each market’s unique nuances — never letting language be a barrier, but instead using it as an opportunity to understand, adapt, and craft effective GTM strategies
✅ Spent 180+ days away from home in certain years to personally lead the turnaround of underperforming markets and drive sustained growth

Sometimes, business decisions reflect larger strategic shifts — and people simply get caught in the crossfire. In today’s evolving business landscape, restructuring can impact anyone.

I walk away not bitter, just proud.
Proud of the businesses I’ve built.
Proud of the teams I’ve led.
Proud of the resilience, empathy, and execution I brought to every challenge.

As a leader, I’ve always believed in leading from the front — being on the ground with my teams (not just in boardrooms), deeply understanding local dynamics, and empowering people to thrive. I’ve had the honor of managing close to 40 talented sales professionals over the years, coaching them to reach their full potential in complex, multilingual, and high-growth markets.

Now, I’m looking ahead and actively exploring:
✅ A sales leadership role focused on scaling business across SEA/APAC
✅ Opportunities with global companies expanding into the region and seeking proven GTM leadership
✅ Teams that value execution, coaching, and diversity in selling styles and strategies
I’m confident in my skills, leadership, and ability to drive success — wherever I go. I’m based in Singapore with PR status (no sponsorship required), and I’m ready to hit the ground running.
