After 3.5 years of building, we’ve made the incredibly tough decision to shut down Betafi. This wasn’t an easy choice, but as we didn’t see strong signs of customer demand, we believe it’s time to call it a day.

I want to express gratitude to everyone who was part of this journey—my co-founder Ethan, our amazing early team (Ramandeep, Priyani, Atharva and so many more), and our supportive investors who believed in us from the start and showed understanding during our challenging moments last year.

Shoutout to our earliest customers for co-building Betafi with us. Thank you, Rishabh, Dharani and everyone else for being part of this incredible journey!

There were so many learnings, but these were the 3 things I feel we could have done better:

- Building a more focused product (ex moderated usability testing).
- Moving to US while we were still building for faster feedback.
- Just moving faster with product, with marketing, with company direction.

On a personal note, for the rest of this year I want to focus on my health and want to explore sustainable ways to ‘permanently’ lose weight! I am also exploring building something in this space, stay tuned.
