5 yrs ago I recorded a 17 min Loom video to pitch BimaPe — 8 investors watched it (2 invested) and 4 prospective team members saw it (all 4 joined)…

Loom was a much simpler / less powerful product then as compared to today — I’ve recorded over 250 Loom videos in the past few years — it is the tool which I use to record all of my ‘functional AI’ demo videos

Loom was an earlier adopter of AI (back in 2023) with features like:

(1) Automatic chapter creation with timestamps

(2) Editing clips via a drag & drop interface

😀 Btw, Parker Conard, Founder of Rippling is well known to have used Loom to send his pitch to VCs (and he has raised 100s of millions of dollars this way) — his CFO used to address Qs after the video pitch was seen.

💡 In the recent hiring push at DeVC — 50% of 400+ applicants sent a Loom (video) v/s a video uploaded in Google Drive (of course we nudged them to try Loom).

Alongside Notion, it is one of those products which has been immensely valuable for me — shoutout to them (not a paid promotion but a SOLID endorsement from my end — magical product 🧡)

PS: Big fan of Loom + founders Vinay
& Joe || Atlassian acquired Loom on Oct 12 ‘23 — continue to love the product & use it (almost) daily!
