Acquisition as stated are always tough for companies involved, massive ammount is involved though a stragies are formed to get best results but the thing is generally 70-90% acquisition are just failure as stated by HBR report .

Here are some big acquisition which are big of all time and were quite famous of their time.

  1. Salesforce bought Tableau

This acquisition happened in June 2019 bought Tableau in about $15.7 billion worth.

   2. Facebook bought WhatApp

The $19 billion worth deal happened in 2014, so what it bring to Facebook a whooping user base of 450 million.

   3. Intel bought Mobileye 

Intel Corp. had bought Mobileye for about $15 billion.

  4. Microsoft bought LinkedIn

This is a $26 billon deal that happened in 2016 and was the largest deal under CEO Satya Nadella.

  5. Dell bought EMC

This deal was the biggest acquisition happened in tech world for $67 billion and happened in 2015.
