I am a literature student from University of Calcutta and came here to contribute.

The most basic resources for commencing any enterprise are as follows:

  1. Land :- no enterprise can be set up without any proper place, whether it's a whole piece of land or any corner of a huge building. That's basically the first brick of any organisation. A stable place is required for the success of any enterprise plus they also add to the reputation of the company.
  2. Labour :- no one can run the company on their own, and they do need a handful of people to run it smoothly, whether it's your peer group or your family or any other external employee. The contribution from each and every person present in the organisation helps the constant growth and no resource is as powerful as the human resource.
  3. Capital :- every business requires different types of capital. It might not be the liquid money, but maybe the material things or vice versa. Without any capital, it will hinder the investment process.

One of the foremost task of any entrepreneur is to arrange and procure proper resources. It is a job of an entrepreneur to identify from and how are they going to procure resources. The timely identification and utilisation of the resources leads to the success of any organisation.

So, basically, resource mobilization is the procedure of getting resources from the provider, in various ways in order to achieve the pre-determined goals of the enterprise. It is all about using the resources at the right time, at the right place and at the right price. The basic resources required for any enterprise are land, labour and capital.

Resource mobilization is not an easy job. It requires the utmost attention. Other than the monetary resources, it also includes building valuable contacts, network and support. One should make adequate preparations for effective mobilization and increasing all kinds o opportunities.

The whole procedure can be done step by step.

  1. Ask yourself why do you need resources?
  2. Identify the type of resources and identify the availability.
  3. Effective communication with the suppliers and building a strong network with them.
  4. Judge properly. How much quantity do you need ? And at what quality? Are you going to compromise the quality in order to increase the quantity?
  5. Identify the problems tagged along with the resources. Will you be able to face them in the future?
  6. Utilise the resources wisely, so that it satisfies the cost to the utmost level.
