Interruption marketing i.e. interruption marketing, is the traditional model built promotion of product. In this, targeted  customers/clients have to stop what they're doing to pay attention to the marketing message or deal with it in some other way. We come across such marketing nearly every day. The interruption marketing includes  product promotion like telemarketing calls, mail campaigns, email campaigns, television and radio advertisements. The ad that plays before a YouTube video is also part of interruption marketing. 

There are many ways to target the interested people by using interruption marketing strategies. One has to take care of certain things for the promotion of products or services like the promotion should be precise & to the point. It should not brag about the products. At the same time, the promotion should be precise & interesting or else no one would pay attention to it.

Interruption marketing can be defined as promoting a product by the means of advertising, public relation and sales. It is not suitable every time and depends upon company to company. It is very much sales directed, so if a company has limited funds to invest for advertising and wants quick results then interruption marketing is best. But at times it is not considered a fruitful way of marketing.
