In simple terms, page rank is a measure of how ‘important’ a web page is. It works on the basis that when another website links to your web page, it’s like a recommendation or vote for that web page.

Page rank is significant on the grounds that it's one of the elements an internet searcher like Google considers when it chooses which results to appear at the highest point of its web index postings – where they can be effortlessly observed.

It's by all account not the only or even the most significant factor. To begin with, your page should be applicable to whatever the pursuit is – if somebody's looking for handymen, your page about internet banking won't highlight regardless of how high its page rank might be. Be that as it may, every single other thing being equivalent, page rank has an impact on web index rankings.
