I am a literature student from University of Calcutta and came here to contribute.

Entrepreneurship is basically that path which wasn't traveled by people before or has no clue about it. Entrepreneurs, the person who starts up their entrepreneurship, literally make fortune out of their ideas. The word might sound cool, but the job ain't. Everything comes with their own pros and cons. One can mould their business in whatever way they want, add whatever innovations they want, employ whoever they want. They are literally their own boss. But one goes through a lot of ups and downs, like a ship going through a stormy sea. Entrepreneurship is that ship, and the sea is the challenges. It's a long journey but maybe worth it. It is a passion and all about commercial risks. One meets exposure, experience and failure. The range can differ from small fruit business to big multinational company like Facebook. Over the time, the idea has been changing, with coming of new innovations and new generations with their own demands. The business ventures can either be idea-centric or product-centric. The most important thing that an entrepreneur needs to possess is embracing the new culture. If you want to expand your business, you need to know what are the new demands. You just can't continue your age old business and neglect the new technologies. Afterall, every one will derive the value of every penny they are spending on their product purchased.

According to Wikipedia243, "Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business, which is often initially a small business. The people who create these businesses are called entrepreneurs", but I don't think that's what you wanted to know, after all you could find this just by googling it.. So let me tell you what an entrepreneur does?

A modern entrepreneur, generally, has more than profit in mind. What drives them is not just money, the passion to "change the world", initiate social change, make something innovative and life changing. They also aim to contribute to the society and bring their dreams to life.

Some believe entrepreneurship is about about building a life on your own terms. No bosses. No restricting schedules (although all this is debatable). And no one holding you back. Entrepreneurs are able to take the first step into making the world a better place, for everyone in it.

Entrepreneur may be defined as a person who sets up a business with the aim to make a profit. But this definition is a little vague but there is a good reason. An entrepreneur can be a person who sets up their first online store on the side or a freelancer just starting out.

In short, we can say, Entrepreneurs see possibilities and solutions where the average person only sees annoyances and problems and entrepreneurship may be called the spirit that guides them.

According to google the activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit is entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurs like doing things that have not been done before, or done before successfully then only they called as Famous Entrepreneurs. They are opportunistic, creative, innovative, always looking for new ideas and definitely not flustered by change.

The key word in the entrepreneur's vocabulary is change!

Dealing with change is what entrepreneurs do best. With change comes opportunity. Entrepreneurship, for decades, has been regarded as a process for starting a new business.

Today we know that Entrepreneurship is about a very specific mindset, an opportunistic spirit, driven by innovation and creativity. The entrepreneurial mindset and spirit, innovation and creativity, are all developed by opportunity that is created by change!

Opportunities are useless if you can't turn them into useful and successful business concepts.

Only your best will be good enough if you want to be smarter and stay ahead of your opposition.

Running your own business most probably will be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do.
