It is definitely not easy to get attention of any VC. Normally they are the ones who wait for the entrepreneurs to approach them

So you will always have to make the first move unless you had an opportunity to pitch in fronโ€™t of an investor in an event & you are able to influence them with your start idea & progress

It is always better to be connected with multiple investors from a relationship point of view & keep them updated about your progress of the startup . If the progress is great & it makes economic sense for a investor he will get interested in investing with you.

Another suggestion is that use PR effectively to communicate about the progress of your startup so that the external stakeholders are aware of the same , this is will help you when you pitch for investment in fronโ€™t of the VC

Seldom i have seen VC proactively approaching any entrepreneur for investment even they thought it was worthy of investments

Unfortunately that is the norm & you will have to play by it.
