Online shopping has ease hustle bustle of stereotypical shopping.

Players like flipkart, Amazon etc provides some good quality of products that too with heavy discounts which motivates people to shop more.

Now the thing is these market players are making their advertisement strategies so awesome that they are reaching out to large number of audience and this motivates people to look out for the deals that e commerce is offering and that's how awareness is create between people.

When that customer reach to the e commerce he/she look for products or similar looking products and make a choice from them.

Further, they reach to add to cart area where they make final decision to purchase or not.

And finally they make a purchase.


The journey of an online shopper has 4 steps –

  • Awareness: When consumers discover your brand.
  • Consideration: Potential customers search to check if you offer the products they need.
  • Preference: Online shoppers establish a preference in terms of which website they want to purchase from based on their research.
  • Purchase: Customer makes a purchase decision.
