Year-end. While everyone's posting about how they're wrapping up the year, I'm
going to post the difference in work cultures and leave that for later.

As an agency owner, we get to work with businesses from different cultures,
different countries, different domains. And everyone's driven about "achieving
goals".

But here's the one difference between those who do and those who don't, in my
experience. The last few days of the year are not meant for slave-driving. I'm
not saying "don't work". I'm saying "allow slowing down".

Allow your team to re-align with their own goals and the company goals. Allow
your agency those few days too to take a step back. Allow those freelancers a
few nights of de-stressing. Give them a little space to breathe and reset their
minds to take on the new year. Acknowledge their hard work.

Don't believe me? Take a look at Freshworks, VWO or someone I work with,
Shopify. Different domains, but each knowing the importance of slowing down
towards the end so that they're prepared better for the days to come.

Lesser calls & meetings. Lesser last-minute goal-setting to achieve by 31st.
More time to breathe. Giving 2 days of breather does no harm, only good. We have
365 days ahead for all of it - all over again. :)
