Today is a 'special day' - 6 months ago, Amit & I had a series of discussions
which gave rise to BimaPe and this is the 1st time in 6 years I'm home for
Republic Day.
🌎'Building on the Internet' in India is incredible!
We have started getting sign-ups from NRIs - word of mouth is very strong in
Indian communities abroad (as Abraz & I have seen)
📞I get phone calls from NRIs using Wallet by BimaPe at some very odd hours of
the day (yes, I leave my own number for customer support - every Founder should)
"Build in India for the world" is certainly true
✅Our DPIIT 'Startup' registration came through!
Aside from the tax incentives for our Indian operating entity, Govt of India
recognition for the IP that Eashan, Kunal, Vishrut & Pranav have built is very
powerful
FYI: The DPIIT logo convinced several early customers that we were a "real"
company and not a scam - signaling matters! This was a good decision by Nishant!
