This is
Devadas Rajaram
. Dev and I first interacted in early 2013 when we were recruiting young
journalists for
Saddahaq
.
He was instantly enamored by the idea of SaddaHaq and I was blown away by his
vision, exposure, passion and energy for digital media.
He became a mentor and helped us understand the changes happening in global
journalism. He was the reason SaddaHaq was discovered and discussed by likes of
Emily Bell of City University of New York and Alan Rusbridger of The Guardian.
He didn't expect money, equity or acknowledgement. He just helped us. And due to
his help, SaddaHaq gained international reputation.
Thank you Dev for your belief, mentorship and graciousness.
