These days I'm helping my father's Ph.D. group by editing their research papers.
It's a breather from the tech content we generally create.
At the same time, Manisha Vaswani reached out yesterday, asking me to fill a
survey.
This makes me think, Ph.D.'s can be made so much more interactive and fun with
such surveys and result-driven research.
Back when I was pursuing my Ph.D., I was a frog in the pond.
No interactions with corporate research or companies.
All one had to do was make molecules (my subject was organic chemistry).
Test them, write a thesis and have them forgotten.
With no real-world application.
Hoping that the research scene is now changing, with exposure to technology and
people being approachable on #LinkedIn.
