The World's biggest election
I would like to share something. According to the constitution, Prime Minister
has a term of 5 years until his party holds the majority of the Lok Sabha. I was
just Wondering..... Why 5 years?, why not 7 years or 10 years. It's my personal
opinion that 5 years are just fewer years to take a decision and run large Govt
projects and complete before the new PM is appointed that may have New Leader to
take a decision. As per one news, the last party executed 10 pending projects
(of building infrastructure, metros, bridge, pension scheme etc).
To run a large country like India of 1.37 billion where 68.84% of Indians live
in 640,867 villages, 122 major languages, and taking the right decision is not
easy when you are PM of India
Out of 5 years, the PM might have spent time 1 year understanding and making
position and last 5th year preparing for next elections. Only 3 years, could be
available to make decisions and start or finish some large projects along
with... the pressure of opponent, the pressure of sensitivity of social and
media AND still finding ways of taking a hard decision like demonetization, GST
and traveling across the world, changes in Foreign Direct Investments etc....
easy?
With changes in the FDI policies, According to the Financial Times, in 2015
India overtook China and the United States as the top destination for Foreign
Direct Investment. According to the Department for Promotion of Industry and
Internal Trade (DPIIT), the total FDI investments in India April-December2018
stood at US$ 33.49 billion, indicating that the government's effort to improve
the ease of doing business and relaxation in FDI norms is yielding results.
India population is equivalent to 17.74% of the total world population. It has
to be "Golden Sparrow" in the World what it was named in the Ancient times just
because of its wealth, prosperous system.
All the best to all parties Leaders!
Let the result be OPEN.
