#STShare #CarMaker #AfterMarket

I dug into news to find out some POSITIVE stuff (out of all fear around : ) for
the Auto Industry. Read...

China’s factories are beginning to come back to life after an extended lockdown
in the country’s industrial hubs, and that is good news for several Indian car
makers that have their supply chains located beyond the Great Wall. India import
about 10% their raw materials from the neighbouring nation. There are many parts
which are not manufactured in India.

China is the world’s biggest car market and Wuhan which is center of the
#coronavirus outbreak is home to auto plants including General Motors, Honda,
Nissan, Peugeot Group and Renault. ALSO, China is also a major global leader in
refining cobalt, currently an essential ingredient in EV batteries.

OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIA

This situation is a great opportunity for India Auto Component Industry to find
alternative if regulatory testing for Local Component Manufacturer will be
faster.
