1. The number of startups has ballooned to 49000 in just half a decade
(2014-2019)

healthtech) contribute 61% of total deal count in 2019.

3. #Bengaluru startups secured the most funding for the year at $5.3 Bn across
267 deals, compared to 226 deals recorded by #Delhi NCR startups.

4. With the number of startups in India expected to cross 100000, creating more
than 3.25 Mn #jobs by 2025, the total funding in Indian startups is likely to
rise to $150 Bn, creating $500 Bn in total value and over 100 #unicorns!

5. Indian startup ecosystem saw 275 unique VC participating in funding.
