SEO Tips: Google's December 2020 Core Update
Many of you already know that Google keeps updating its algorithm from time to
time. But at least once a year they release Core Update (Major) in their
algorithm.
This time they released Google's December 2020 Core Update recently, many SEO
even NeilPatel lost some rankings. (Ahrefs Screenshot attached you can see)
NOW THE QUESTION IS WHY MANY LOST THE RANKINGS & WHY SOME OF THEM DONE VERY
WELL, DURING THAT UPDATE?
I not only analyzed my own website which did very well, as you can see. I can
show proof if required. But I have also done research on other websites like
NeilPatel.com
WHAT FACTOR INCREASED MY WEBSITE TRAFFIC?
I analysed many things but I found the UX Factor biggest factor according to my
analysis. My competitors were using pop up ads and other ads that ruined the
user expereince. User wasn't able to find the solution with in 1 to 3 clicks. On
the other hand I monetized my site with links only, User was able to find the
solution with ONE Click.
OTHER MAJOR FACTORS MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS RANKING FLUCTUATION.
Keyword User Intention (Give the user what the user wants)
Overall Website URL Structure (like permalinks, on-page headings)
Website Speed
