The Major ways I used for growing my channel was
1. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE OR JOURNEY
Share your experience or journey on the topic which your channel is focusing on. When I started the channel I shared my freelancing journey 5 years ago working with clients from around the world which gave me a good headstart. The video was not good, I di not have experience but still, it helped.
2. HAVE A GOOD THUMBNAIL FOR YOUR VIDEO
As a designer myself, I couldn't agree more, I have one person who saw my video because of my thumbnail. So create some good thumbnail design for your video which gives the viewer an idea of what it is.
3. CREATE A SERIES OF VIDEOS ON THE SAME TOPIC
Create a series of videos on the same main topic and discuss different aspects of it. For example, In my channel, one of the series is Zapier and I have talked about different types of automation you can do with zapier which will help the viewers.
4. PROMOTE IT TO THE CORRECT AUDIENCE
Share your video with people who will be benefited. I usually share videos where it might be useful like Relevant Whatsapp Groups sending it some people who Might be Interested in the topic which you have created on.
5. USE RELEVANT TAGS IN YOUR VIDEO
I use Tubics which is a software helping me in finding and suggesting relevant tags for my youtube views based on the search volume which really helps. The more the tags in your video more the reach of your videos will be.
Last but not least it is never about the numbers but you should be doing videos which should be a valuable time for the viewers. Time is one of the precious things once can give to you and we should make it worth their time.
