Quote from "The Code of the Extraordinary Mind".

Sharing this because it reminds me of a topic I discussed this week with Time
Magazine Top 100 Person of the Year,

Priyanka Chopra

.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas just released her new book "Unfinished". And in our
conversation on her life and book I told her how impressed I was that she took
the plunge to move from Bollywood to LA and attempt to break out as a music
star. She even recorded songs with

will.i.am

and

Pitbull

. But her American singing career failed. Undaunted she decided to try her hand
in TV. And that's when she landed the lead role in Quantico. Her career
skyrocketed and she became the star she is today and one of the most famous
women in the world.

I told Priyanka I respected her grit and fortitude to try her hand at music even
if she failed. She replied. "Yes. But sometimes you got to know when to keep
trying and sometimes you have to know when to walk away. You know why I called
my book 'Unfinished"? It's OK to leave something unfinished if it's not working
out and try something else."

She explained that if she didn't walk away from American music, she wouldn't
have made it as a Hollywood star.

I love that idea. Sometimes you have to know when to walk away. To give up. To
destroy a part of your life that's merely mediorce. So something truly great can
step in.

Which is why I wrote the quote above. Share your thoughts.
