Yes this is suddenly happening in one of my groups too... Its 5-6 people posting
the same promotional comments in different posts. I have requested them to stop,
failing which I've muted them and some have been removed also

Oh yes .. we are declining more than half of what we are allowing to join ...

are your member approvals on riddhi? i see a lot of firangi fake profiles who
answer our joining q's with YES in all q's and they have joined facebook in
aug/sept 2020. so we just block them.

Better to assign a moderator for this task who can screen profiles before
accepting requests . .

20 30 profiles should be an ok ok task to manage in a day ..

we get many requests which provide false answers on the membership questions ..
so any profile which has joined less than 2 months ago or so and is a part of 50
60 groups is outrightly declined despite having answers qualifying to join group
. Because from my experience of running a group for 5 years , these profiles
just join for the sake of advertisements and provide no value to the group

How do you know it's a fake profile apart from the number of friends and posts?
