NEW: Google & Amazon put the brakes on the future of remote work!
• Google employees will begin returning to office in April & beyond Sep 1, they
will need formal approval to work remotely >14 days/year
• Amazon wants to return to an "office-centric culture as the baseline"
The tech world is now clearly divided into 2 major camps:
• Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter moving towards a remote future
• Google, Amazon, Netflix being adamant to return to office
It will be interesting to see how much & how soon the "non-remote" camp loses
