I'd have picked up a job like this in two seconds instead of freelancing
aimlessly to pay bills and bootstrap my shit.

Locally, there's a fund (https://diagram.ca/) who basically do this. They vet
ideas internally and then recruit a CEO to kick-off the company

I think it comes down to what your hiring process looks like and whether that
could be realistically productized.

I'd suggest using ProductHunt but most experienced founders in that network are
either already working on their own stuff or investing in the space

Curious what you’re looking for exactly as I have experience in this arena and
am looking for new opportunities

There are several levels of this -1) full time operators for larger businesses,
2) Being one of several or many investing in a single business or group of
businesses (smart but less enjoyable imo) and 3) Marketers who need a technical
partner and vice versa. For example I see some of the listings and know which
ones I could scale far beyond what they are doing now - but need to measure my
time available to manage the business as a whole. I would love a technical /
operational partner. The million dollar question of course is trusting / knowing
people you just met....
