I spend 8 - 10 hours on pro-bono conversations every week with entrepreneurs and
founders, talking about anything they want to discuss and brainstorm.
So, I have been asked why do I do it for free and what do I get out of it?
Well, here are my 5 reasons why I do this:
PAY IT FORWARD: Many exceptional people helped me through my start-up journey
without any expectations, I am trying to learn from them
SATISFACTION: It is incredibly satisfying to see such exceptional founders
kick-ass and these sessions are my front-row seats
KNOWLEDGE: It is never a one-way flow of knowledge, I always learn something new
in every such conversation as entrepreneurs learn from me
BUILD REP & CRED: Any person worth their salt has to first prove it. I am doing
the same.
STAY MOTIVATED: I know I will be an entrepreneur again, bound to happen. And, I
need to feed motivation to myself which comes from the stories I hear.
