DOES CLUBHOUSE FOLLOW TIKTOK'S CREATOR FOND STRATEGY? π
After a first successful funding round, the startup announced that it will be
starting work on its Android app (itβs been iOS-only for now).
Additionally, Clubhouse announced plans for creator payments in form of a
"Creator Grant Program" similar to TikTok's Creator Fond and YouTube.
While the app has done a remarkable job attracting creator talent, including
high-profile celebrity and political users, directing revenue toward creators
will definitely help drive sustained interest, as well as more time and
investment from new creators.
What are your thoughts? Do you think other platforms like Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter & Co will soon follow this approach?
