Do you know the Red Bull's Garbage Marketing Strategy?
In 1994, Red Bull was planning to launch their energy drink in London, UK
Many suggested them to go for billboards & radios
But they wanted do the innovative product launch
Red Bull started hiring marketers & they came up with a Garbage Marketing
Strategy
They crushed thousands of Red Bull's empty cans
And then placed it intelligently in the whole city at night time
Next day, when people woke up-
They saw Red Bull's empty can on many places such as footpaths, stations,
colleges
This made people feel like, Red Bull is a high demand drink and they should
actually drink it
This boosted revenue of Red Bull by a high value
Moral of the story is- Sales becomes easy if you are able to create hype in the
market
