BMW was originally an aircraft manufacturing company!

We wouldn't have seen or been in a BMW car if Germany wouldn't have lost World
War I.

After Germany's defeat in WWI, all airplane #manufacturing companies had to
cease production, one of the many terms of the Versailles Armistice Treaty.

With this rule, BMW faced #bankruptcy!

However, it didn't give up and shifted to motorcycle production, soon followed
by the manufacture of #cars in 1928.

Their current logo is a tribute to their aviation #heritage, with two flying
wheels in the center.

You see, ADAPTION is the key to success!

What other thoughtful lessons can you derive from this short incident?
