Attn UI/UX Designers: You Need to Take Portfolio out of Behance/Dribble.
Because:
1. Getting Attention on these platforms is nearly impossible.
2. Lots of copyright violations.
3. Every portfolio & project looks & feels like any other.
4. Behance/Dribble projects & portfolios give undue importance to Visual appeal
and very less on your problem solving skill that is an absolutely important for
UX Designer.
5. Because of point 3, hiring managers only do cursory glance at your
behance/dribble portfolio. Its almost impossible to judge the value of a
designer from these platforms.
6. Visually appealing projects get more likes and Designers who can create
Visually pleasing UI get to higher ranks.
