50K MARK ON IG IN 1 YEAR: NOT A SELF-PROMOTION
I started my Instagram Journey on Jan 1, 2020, and it's been an amazing journey.
I had an aim to reach 50K in 1 year and I am glad that I could achieve it.
Here are a few things which I want to share with the community members.
FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.
1. Entrepreneur, Agency, Business or personal brands don't grow that quick like
other entertainment accounts. So, don't keep very high hopes
2. Initial 2000 followers are easy to grow. Getting up to the 10k mark is what
sucks the most of you
3. Stories should be given the most priority as that is one thing that will help
you grow on other platforms
4. It's not about how many followers you get in a day, see the bigger picture
BEST THINGS FOR AGENCIES, PERSONAL BRAND, ENTREPRENEURS
1. Determine your aim: Is it growth or clients! You need to be crystal focus on
what your priority is. If it's clients then just treat Instagram as your
portfolio and focus on the quality of design and videos
2. Growth depends on many factors
- Consistency
- Planning
- Fulfillment if needs
and much more....
THINGS YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON FOR GROWTH
1. Reels (1/day)
2. Post (1/day)
3. Stories (5-6/day)Make sure to show your face
4. IG Live (2/month)
5. Live Collabs (1/mon)
Things like guest posting and S4S also work but I personally am not that big fan
of that
P.S: The main thing to focus on is on collaboration with the big shots, I did
many collabs with people/influencers having more than 100K followers and they
did help me a lot to grow
I will be sharing what I did exactly in 2020 to grow my account. Also, the
things mentioned above might seem to be really straight forward but that's what
exactly worked for me and it MIGHT work for some others as well
Let me know if you have any questions!!
