Here’s why it doesn’t work:
• It signals you’re done, not that the audience matters.
• It puts pressure on the room to perform.
• It rarely leads to engagement—just awkward silence.
Want a stronger ending?
Try one of these instead:
1. “Here’s your next step…”
🧠 Make it clear, direct, and immediate.
2. “Let’s land this where we began…”
🧠 Circle back to your core message or story.
3. “Before I wrap, let me leave you with this…”
🧠 Create a sense of finality and insight.
4. “If you take one thing, take this…”
🧠 Reinforce your key point emotionally.
5. “Here’s your challenge for the week…”
🧠 Action > applause.
And yes—invite dialogue. But do it with intention:
➞ “We’ve got 5 minutes. What’s the real question on your mind?”
➞ “What’s one idea you’re walking away with?”
Strong closings don’t open the floor. They open a door.
